The Manchester Recorder Orchestra

Welcome to the online home of the Manchester Recorder Orchestra

To the delight of countless audiences, the orchestra has, since 1982, given regular public concerts around the North West of England, and further afield. There are usually two concerts a year promoted by the orchestra themselves, and a further concert given in association with a charity, or similar worthy cause.

It seems a long time since our last concert in November at St. Wilfrid's Church in Grappenhall, in aid of the Warrington Foodbank. The concert was well attended, the orchestra and guest choir Capriccio gave marvellous performances, and a lot of money and food donations were handed over to Warrington Foodbank.

Now we have just the afternoon rehearsal left (2.30pm start), before our next concert on 22nd February. It's a great programme of music, most of which is original music for recorder orchestra.

Here you can find our guest book. Please stop by and say hello. Tell us a little about yourself, where you're from, or what's on your mind! It could even be recorder related...

Here's another wonderful gadget, we couldn't resist, that shows where visitors to our site are from. Welcome!
